We just came here for my birthday and the food is lovely and flavourful. We had an appetiser made of puffed rice that was delicious! Then we ordered 3 mains (and took half of it to go) I like that they make things from scratch. For example, they puff their rice for the dush i mentioned above. Unfortunately, they did ... not have desserts today but I left satisfied. One thing to take into account is that they do not sell alcoholic drinks just yet, just fyi in case someone is in the mood to drink a glass of wine. The host is very nice and attentive. We'll be back! Read More
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Swagat – Where India Meets Miami (MiMo District) Swagat is such a clever blend of cultures — more Miami-cool than Bollywood-drama, but in a way that totally works. Don’t go in expecting saris and sitars; this spot leans contemporary, clean, and stylish, with that unmistakable MiMo vibe humming in the ... background. And the hand-painted Indian façade out front? Loved it. A little slice of Delhi splashed onto Biscayne Boulevard. The food was seriously impressive. We went for the lamb rogan josh, ordered vindaloo hot — and they delivered exactly that: proper Indian spicy, no Americanised shortcuts. Deep flavour, rich sauce, slow-cooked tenderness… the whole deal. The chicken tandoor was a standout too — melt-in-the-mouth, a touch of tikka running through it, and absolutely on the money. The basmati rice was fragrant and perfectly cooked. The cheese & chilli naan… let’s just say it was more Miami pizza energy than Indian tradition — but it was still decent and fun to try. Prices run a little high, but that’s par for the course with good Asian food in the US, and the quality genuinely backed it up. Service was friendly, relaxed, and very Miami in the best way. Overall: a fresh, modern Indian dining experience that leans Miami more than Mumbai — and pulls it off beautifully. 🌴🔥🍛 Read More
We discovered this place thanks to Resy. The service was amazing. The parking situation is very simple: street parking in front and in the back of the street. It's very easy to find a place to park. The food was on point. We recommend the chef experience. We did the non-vegetarian one, and it was amazing. Food ... portions are very generous, so just a heads up: some plates are mostly to share if you are not that hungry. Prices are very reasonable for being in Miami. Five stars, well deserved. I recently visited Swagat and honestly left so impressed. The menu had so many great options, and our host went above and beyond to explain dishes and offer suggestions, which I really appreciated. I decided to go with Chef Abi’s tasting menu, and wow… every single course was perfect. The flavors were so well ... balanced, the presentation was beautiful, and it felt like such a thoughtful dining experience. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, making it the perfect place to just sit back and enjoy the meal. I can confidently say this was some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had, and I’m already counting down the days until I can go back! Read More
We had a good dining experience here. Went there for a Saturday lunch. We ordered lamb rogan josh, goat bhuna, Amritsari chole garlic naan and masala chai. The taste, texture, temperature, fragrance, spice everything was on point. Closest to authentic chai I have had in Miami.
